Compact frozen storage, with solid and glass doors

The Bar Freezers range includes compact undercounter freezers with solid or glass doors, alongside countertop display and bench slushy freezer listings. Compare the exact storage format first: the category name does not establish that every cabinet is suitable for the same product, operating temperature or enclosed installation.

For two examples, Thermaster DC-80F is a solid-door undercounter freezer with 80L gross volume, while Thermaster HF200G S/S is a glass-door display freezer with 129L gross volume. Check the selected model’s internal storage arrangement and permitted use for the stock you intend to keep.

Compare all three cabinet dimensions

DC-80F measures 545 × 583 × 850 mm. Atosa MBC24F measures 605 × 635 × 825 mm and lists 105L capacity. The Atosa cabinet is 60mm wider and 52mm deeper, but 25mm lower. A narrower freezer is not necessarily a lower one.

These are external W × D × H dimensions, not a complete installation envelope. Polar CD081-A measures 600 × 620 × 870 mm. Measure the counter opening and access route, then check the exact model’s ventilation clearance, service access, installed feet or castors and door-opening space before confirming fit.

Keep gross and usable capacity separate

Polar CD081-A lists 140L total capacity and 78L usable space. Anvil FBFG2204 lists 170L gross and 145L net volume, with a triple-glazed glass door and external dimensions of 598 × 679 × 838 mm. Keep each volume label attached to its figure when comparing storage.

A headline litre figure without a gross, net or usable label is not directly interchangeable with a labelled usable volume. Ask for that measurement basis, and compare internal dimensions, shelves and the containers or packs you need to store.

Check ambient ratings and the right refrigeration category

Ambient ratings differ between the examples: HF200G S/S lists a maximum ambient of 30°C at 55% relative humidity; MBC24F lists 43°C rated ambient. These describe surrounding operating conditions, not the frozen storage temperature. Check the cabinet temperature range and full ambient conditions separately for the exact model.

Before ordering, confirm the selected freezer’s electrical connection, ventilation and defrost instructions. Request documented noise or energy figures if those matter for your bar; door material, refrigerant type or the category name alone does not establish quieter operation or lower running costs.
