About Furnmaker

Furnmaker is a Furnlink commercial furniture brand focused on locally made table-top solutions. The current supplier catalogue is built around Australian-made melamine tops produced for commercial indoor applications. Rather than limiting a project to a handful of stock sizes, Furnmaker creates a broad specification matrix of lengths, widths and finishes that can be matched to venue layouts and table bases. Origin: Australia.

07 / TRADE-OFFS

Strengths & limits

Local manufacture Australian production supports project specification and made-to-order sizing.Lead time is typically longer than stocked commodity tops.Size breadth Many dimensions can share one finish platform. The base must still be matched to top span and weight.Edge protection 2mm ABS edging protects vulnerable MDF edges. It does not make the top waterproof.Indoor value Melamine is easy to coordinate and maintain. It is not a substitute for exterior-grade compact laminate, Werzalit, stone or solid timber.

08 / SUITABILITY

How to specify

Start with the floor plan and covers per table. Record exact length, width, 25mm thickness, finish and edge requirement. Select a commercial base rated for the top dimensions, weight and expected edge loads; long tops may need multiple supports. Confirm indoor placement, lead time, access and batch colour before ordering. Ask KW to check every top-and-base pairing.

09 / ROI

Running cost & ROI

Furnmaker's value comes from fitting the space properly without jumping immediately to bespoke joinery. A common construction and finish across many dimensions simplifies design, replacement and future expansion. Good base selection, protected edges and prompt spill cleaning are the keys to extending service life.

010 / BENCHMARK

Versus other brands

Custom sizing Furnmaker offers a broad made-to-order size matrix.Stocked tops can arrive faster but offer fewer dimensions.Indoor value Melamine delivers practical colour and cost.Werzalit and compact laminate suit tougher moisture exposure better.Local production Furnmaker is Australian made.Imported options may offer different edge profiles or décors.Choose the complete construction for the venue, not finish alone.
