The generous storage container safely holds up to 4kg of ice, ensuring there's always a plentiful supply whenever you need it. The Polar U-series ice machine combines its space-saving countertop design with intuitive, user-friendly operation, making it a great choice for high-traffic commercial settings. The solid front door protects the contents from contamination as well, whilst also ensuring no external contact with the UVC light. For further hygiene, the ice maker's self-clean function ensures the quality of the ice is maximised at all times. The Polar ice maker is supplied with an easy installation kit and handy food-safe ice scoop for immediate setup and use. Installation Note: As this model is designed for a countertop, it uses a gravity drainage system. For lower installations, an optional drain pump (AF309) is recommended. In areas with hard or medium water, protect your investment with a water filter to prevent limescale and maintain ice quality. Please also note: in hard or medium water areas, limescale can cause serious damage to your ice machine. We recommend a water filter is fitted to reduce limescale and maintain ice quality.
