Product overview & key benefits
Nemox – Italian Gelato Machines & More
Nemox is an Italian specialist in gelato machines and dessert technology,
with over 30 years of engineering experience. The i-Green series combines
professional performance with low-impact, energy-efficient refrigeration.
Signature Strength: fully automatic touch-control gelato systems using
R290 natural refrigerant, advanced density algorithms and 5-level storage modes
for consistent, barista-proof gelato service.
- Made in Italy – professional-grade components
- Touch screen automation – one-touch production & storage
- 5 storage levels – softer to firmer gelato textures
- Eco i-Green design – R290 + reduced energy use
High-output Italian gelato production in a compact footprint
The Nemox Gelato 4K Touch I-Green is a fully automatic, touch-screen controlled
gelato machine designed for restaurants, cafés and dessert bars needing fast,
repeatable batches with minimal supervision. With 1.4–1.5L per batch produced in
only 12–15 minutes, and more than 5.6L per hour (up to 4kg/6L as per Nemox
specs), it delivers serious production in a benchtop format.
The i-Green refrigeration system uses R290 natural gas and optimised
thermodynamic design to cut emissions by up to 99.95% compared with older
HFC refrigerants while maintaining fast pull-down times and low energy use.
Engineered for professional performance
Touch software, density control & 5-level storage
Gelato 4K Touch I-Green is equipped with a touch panel and an electronic board
that manages the entire production and storage cycle. Algorithms continuously
monitor ambient temperature and mix density, automatically switching from
production to storage when the gelato reaches the programmed consistency.
The unit offers five selectable storage levels, from softer to more structured
gelato, which can be changed at any time during the holding phase. A
Pause function and lid safety sensor stop the paddle if the lid is opened, helping
with safe ingredient additions and service.

Compliance, usage & applications (AU)
Designed for serious small-to-mid volume gelato service
Ideal for restaurants, high-end cafés, dessert bars, boutique gelato labs, hotels,
chocolatiers and R&D kitchens that require professional results without a full-size
batch freezer. The 4K Touch I-Green runs on a standard 10A circuit, with air
cooling and benchtop installation. Allow at least 200mm clearance on all sides for
ventilation and follow standard HACCP cleaning and sanitising procedures.
Operator best practices
Daily routine for best performance
- Limit batch mix to 1kg to allow for overrun and expansion
- Keep mix temperature between +5°C and +20°C before churning
- Use the Pause function whenever opening the lid during operation
- Select storage level based on service needs (softer vs firmer)
- Store in-machine for max 8 hours for best quality

Smart energy & ROI analysis
High output, low energy, minimal supervision
Energy use & cost
- Power draw: 320W
- Approx. cost: ~$0.10/hour (at $0.30/kWh)
- Annual cost (2 hours/day): ~$73/year
Operational gains
- Automatic production + storage reduces labour supervision
- Fast 12–15min cycles increase daily flavour throughput
- Precise density control reduces failed batches
- R290 system cuts greenhouse impact by ~99.95% vs HFC-based units
Production snapshot
Manual batch freezer: 30–40 min / 1L + constant supervision Gelato 4K Touch: 12–15 min / 1.4–1.5L, auto storage Labour time saved: ~15–25 min per batch Annual ROI: strong for venues running multiple flavours daily
Typical payback period: 4–9 months, depending on daily batch volume and menu pricing.

Frequently asked questions
Can I run continuous batches during service?
Yes. Use the removable bowl for the next flavour while the machine holds the previous batch in storage mode.
Does the touch panel manage storage automatically?
Yes. The software switches to storage and adjusts paddle and compressor cycles based on gelato density.
Is this suitable for high-end restaurants?
Absolutely. The 4K Touch is designed for professional kitchens needing precise texture, quiet operation and compact size.
