Flagship Italian gelato machine for demanding commercial kitchens
The Nemox Gelato 6K CREA I-Green is a compact, fully automatic batch
freezer designed for chefs, gelato labs and hospitality venues that need
premium-quality gelato with higher hourly output and complete program
control. With 2.5L batches (~1.75kg) in just 12–15 minutes and up to
7kg / 10L per hour, it steps above the 5K CREA in volume and flexibility
while maintaining a benchtop footprint.

How to choose: which Nemox is right for you?
- Budget / entry level (≈ $2k–$3k): choose 3L or 5L Auto if you only need
a few pans per day and want simple automatic density control. - Smart automation & faster service: choose 4K Touch if you like touch screen,
5 storage levels and short cycles but don’t need CREA-level programs. - Professional pastry / restaurant lab: choose 5K CREA SC for 4 programs,
4 storage modes and built-in drain – ideal when gelato becomes a key menu pillar. - Serious gelato production & higher ticket price (≈ up to $10k+): choose
6K CREA when you need both larger 5L bowl, 2.5L batches and variable-speed
inverter control. This is the model that lets you tune body and overrun to each
recipe and run continuous batches all day.
Engineered for professional performance
CREA automation with inverter-driven variable speed
Gelato 6K CREA I-Green uses the same CREA software platform as the 5K,
but adds an electronic inverter to control paddle speed from 60 to 130rpm.
Lower speeds suit classic Italian gelato and sorbet; higher speeds suit semi-soft
gelato or where more overrun is required. This level of control is a major reason
the 6K sits at the top of the product family.
In manual mode, the compressor and paddle operate independently so chefs
can fine-tune recipes. In automatic mode, simply choose one of four programs
(Classic Gelato, Semi-soft Gelato, Granita, Shock Freezing) and a matching
storage program – the machine then handles production and preservation.

compact i-Green design runs on a standard 10A circuit with air cooling and can
sit on a sturdy bench or dedicated stand with adequate side and rear ventilation.
Operator best practices
Daily routine for consistent results
- Load up to 1.75kg of mix per batch to allow correct overrun
- Use lower speeds (around 60–80rpm) for traditional gelato and sorbet
- Use higher speeds (up to 130rpm) for semi-soft gelato or higher overrun
- Always run a rinse & drain through the bowl at end of day

Smart energy & ROI analysis
Higher throughput, fine-tuned texture & lower wastage
Energy use & cost
- 600W power draw
- Approx. $0.18/hr at $0.30/kWh
- Annual cost (2 hrs/day): ~$130/year
Operational gains
- Faster cycles vs small machines (12–15min vs 20–30min)
- More consistent texture thanks to CREA density control
- Variable speed reduces failed batches and “too hard/too soft” waste
- i-Green R290 system lowers environmental impact and compressor stress
Production snapshot
Typical day: 6–10 batches Output: 15–25L of gelato Manual system: 30–45 min per batch + supervision 6K CREA system: 12–15 min auto + storage Labour saved: 2–4 hours per day
For venues selling premium gelato daily, the 6K CREA can typically pay for itself in 3–9 months, depending on volume and menu pricing.

Frequently asked questions
Why is the 6K CREA more expensive than 3L/5L/4K?
Because it combines larger 5L bowl capacity, higher hourly output, 4+4 CREA programs, inverter-driven variable speed and pro-grade drainage and construction – it is built for serious daily production, not occasional use.
Is the 6K CREA suitable as a main lab machine?
Yes. For many restaurants and boutique gelato operators, the 6K can serve as the primary batch freezer, especially when paired with a display cabinet.
Can it also handle granita and quick chilling?
Yes. Dedicated Granita and Fast Cooling programs make it suitable for frozen drinks, granita and rapid chilling of liquids.
